Why We Soft Wash Fences
Blasting a wood fence with a high-pressure wand is a common mistake. It raises the grain, leaves fuzzy, splintered boards and etches “wand marks” that stay visible for years. On vinyl, too much pressure can scar the surface and drive water into the posts.
Soft washing works differently. We apply a cleaning solution suited to the surface, let it dwell long enough to break down the algae, mildew and dirt, and then rinse at low pressure. The growth is killed at the root rather than just knocked off the surface, so the fence stays clean longer.
